eICU Primary Intensivists

In this model, we serve as the primary team taking care of the ICU patient. Admissions are discussed between the intensivist and the ER or primary physician, and the intensivist takes over complete care of the patient. This includes admission orders, daily rounds, continuous availability to nursing, respiratory and ancillary staff.

eICU Consulting Intensivisits

In this model, the admitting hospitalist or surgeon consults the intensivist on an as needed basis. An initial Consult note is written and daily rounds are down on the patient. The intensivist discusses the plan of care with the primary team and can either defer to the primary team to place the orders, or can place them themselves if the primary team so requests/agrees.

Night Coverage

In hospitals that already have an in-house critical care physician during the day time, we can provide night coverage to alleviate the burden on the daytime critical care physicians.

Supplemental Coverage

For busy ICUs and ERs, we can provide supplementary coverage. In this model, we assist the in-house intensivist or the ER physician with admissions, family conversations, and codes, among other things.

Tele-Pulmonary

We provide pulmonary consulting services for patients at any level of care, whether it be med-surg or ICU. This includes an initial consult, and follow ups as needed.
